WHAT TYPE OF PERSONAL DATA SHDO WE USE?
We only collect personal data for the purpose of communicating with website users or the implementation of the service offered or the sale of goods on the basis of the performance of the concluded contract. For the customer, this is First Name, Last Name, Shipping Address, Billing Address, Email and Payment Details according to the type of payment.
Further we collect data provided by the customer about third partiesthat we need for the final execution of the order (family tree at the customer’s request with the data of the persons shown in the family tree). In particular, data such as First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Death or Marriage, Place of Birth, Death, Marriage, etc., only those data that are present in the final product and without them the order cannot be realized.
The customer agrees that the data provided for the preparation of the order (including personal data of third parties necessary for display in the family tree) has been obtained with the consent of the persons concerned.
Unless you specifically wish to, photographs of the finished work will not be used to promote (with regard to the protection of your personal data and that of third parties displayed on the family tree). We always ask in advance about the use and promotion of the work.
FOR WHAT PURPOSE DO WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA?
The processing of personal data is necessary for the implementation of communication with the users of the website or the performance of a contract arising from the ordering of the services offered, for the following purposes:
Implementation of the service.
Information about the status of the order.
Delivery of ordered goods.

We need your email address to keep you informed about discounts and special offers, competitions and other interesting news. You must give your informed consent for this enhanced marketing communication. GENERAL PROVISIONS
The processing of personal data in family trees as a business activity is not covered by the exception under Article 2(2)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which does not apply to the processing of personal data carried out by a natural person in the course of purely personal or domestic activities, as in the case of a family tree of his or her own family.
The data protection principles set out in this Regulation must therefore be complied with. In accordance with the contract concluded by the customer, it is necessary to ensure appropriate security of personal data, which cannot be disclosed to unauthorised persons other than the contracting authority. As the protection under the GDPR does not apply to the data of deceased persons, it only applies to the data of living persons listed in the family trees.
The customer voluntarily provides his/her personal data and agrees to provide it to third parties under the conditions set out below.
Personal data will be processed in electronic form in an automated manner.
Should the website user believe that the controller or processor is processing his/her personal data in a way that is contrary to the protection of his/her private and personal life or contrary to the law, in particular if the personal data are inaccurate with regard to the purpose of their processing, he/she may:
request an explanation from the seller or processor at their email address or in writing,
require the controller or processor, either by request to its electronic address or in writing, to remedy the situation.
If a website user requests information regarding the processing of his/her personal data, the Seller is obliged to provide this information to the user’s e-mail address or in writing by post. The controller is entitled to charge a reasonable fee for the provision of the information referred to in the previous sentence, not exceeding the costs necessary to provide the information, in the event of repeated requests.
Customer personal data is secured against misuse. The handling of customers’ personal data is governed by the relevant provisions of Act No. 101/2000 Coll., on the Protection of Personal Data and on Amendments to Certain Acts, as amended and in force.
